Wedding at Locanda del Cavaliere – Italian Riviera Wedding in Liguria
A destination wedding in the Italian Riviera
This wedding took place entirely at Locanda del Cavaliere, in the Ligurian countryside, just a few minutes from the sea.
The couple lives in Canada, but the groom has roots in this part of Liguria — a connection that made the choice of location even more meaningful.
It wasn’t a big or elaborate wedding.
It was simple, relaxed, and deeply personal.
Getting ready in a unique atmosphere
The preparations took place inside the venue, surrounded by stone walls and soft natural light.
There was no rush — just quiet moments, laughter, and a very natural rhythm to the morning.
These kinds of environments make it easy to focus on what really matters: people and emotions.
Outdoor ceremony at Locanda del Cavaliere
The ceremony happened in the garden, under a floral arch surrounded by greenery.
Everything felt intimate and genuine.
No unnecessary elements — just the couple, their guests, and the moment.
Couple portraits in Cervo
For the couple session, we moved to Cervo, one of the most beautiful villages on the Italian Riviera.
Narrow streets, stone textures, and the sea just a few steps away create a perfect setting for natural and spontaneous portraits.
We didn’t need to build anything — the place already had everything.
Reception and atmosphere
Back at the venue, the reception continued in a relaxed and warm atmosphere.
Long tables, simple but elegant details, and a strong Mediterranean feeling.
It’s the kind of setting where people feel comfortable, and everything flows naturally.
A wedding about connection
What stood out the most during this wedding wasn’t the setup or the location — even if both were beautiful.
It was the connection between people.
Family, friends, emotions, laughter.
Everything felt real, and that’s what makes a story meaningful.
